Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers – which he'll need to regulate her body temperature once he's born – are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.

Maternity Clothes: mostly everything, but a couple regular shirts/dresses
Gender: BOY! Brayden Curtis Payne
Movement: He does some weird things inside sometimes making me jump! Also I started feeling his hiccups from the outside and even Jacob & Kylie have felt them!
Sleep: up every couple hours to go potty
What I miss: sleeping thru the night! & bending over even a little is hard to do
Cravings: cereal, chocolate
Symptons: heartburn [but not too bad], tiredness, ocassional sore back & ribs

WOW! I canNOT believe I am already 34 weeks and less than 6 weeks, Brayden should be here! These last couple of months have really flown by and I know the next month & half will too. We need to get our butts in gear and get working more on his room [by this time with Kylie, her nursery was all ready- ooops]! Last weekend, we went to Home Depot and got a bunch of stuff for his room: closet shelving, closet doors, coat rack for the wall, and a shelf. Hopefully the closet shelving will be installed by this weekend [probably Sunday b/c Jacob will be in Myrtle Beach from Thursday- Saturday for work]. I really want to organize all the stuff that is sitting in bags in his closet. I did wash some of his new clothes that I have gotten since I found out he was a boy [back in September]! I only washed the Newborn & 0-3 month clothes for now. Most of his 6 month clothes are for the summer so I'll wait til it gets closer before I wash all those.
I'll update tomorrow about my doctors appointment and include my weekly picture!
