We finally got all the painting done in the baby's room! So I cleaned the floors real good and we laid down the area rug. We still need to have the ceiling fan/light installed, the closet shelving put up and new closet doors put in. Since Kylie got a big girl bed, we moved the crib into the baby's room. The front part was taken off when we put up the toddler railing and we need to get it out of the attic and attach it. Also we should be getting the changing table/ dresser this week but probably won't have time to put it together this weekend and it'll have to wait until after we get back from IL! I also went through Kylie's closet and went through all the baby stuff: bibs, towels, washclothes, blankets, sippy cups, diaper bags, etc. I filled up a big bag to donate and kept some stuff for Brayden and moved it all to his room. So now his closet is full of stuff that I will organize once we get his dresser and closet shelves put together, maybe one day! :)

Kylie got a big girl bed, a twin bed and we put it all together this past weekend! We put it all together and made the bed before we let her see it all done. Once she saw it, she was so excited and kept climbing up and down it! And by the time, we were done it was almost bedtime and she was ready to go to bed and was so excited to sleep in it! I was a little nervous that she would fall out of the bed when she was sleeping since it's higher than her toddler bed and there's no railing. I put her Dora sofa on the floor next to her bed so if she did fall off, it would be a soft surface. But she did really good and didn't fall off the bed all night, hopefully she continues to do well. Every time I go in her room it is so weird seeing a regular bed in there! It makes me feel like she's such a big girl! :(
I snuck in her room after she had fallen asleep to make sure she was still on the bed and to get a picture of her sleeping in her big girl bed for the 1st time! I hadn't gotten her new comforter yet [Grandma found it at a Wal-mart by her house!] so she was still sleeping with her baby blankets.
