Tis the season...

Ahhh... my favorite time of the year! I can't believe it's almost December and we are weeks away from Christmas!!! This year sure has FLOWN by! And what's even more crazy to think about is that at Christmas next year, we'll have a 10 month old baby boy!!! :)

I finished putting up all of our Christmas decorations and the tree this morning. I still want to get a couple more things to add around the house, hopefully I can find what I want this week. Kylie helped me put on her special ornaments on the tree [and even accidentally broke a glass one with fake snow in it, but she was very apologetic and sad about it]! Gingerbread Houses!

On Saturday, we went to Mom's friend, Dare's church for her annual Gingerbread house decorating get-together! We've been going every year since Kylie was a baby, except last year since we were in IL. This time we only got 3 small houses to decorate so Mom did her own and Nicole & I helped our girls decorate one.

After we were done, I dropped Kylie off at her Grammie's house [Jacob's mom] for their first sleepover! Then I met up with Mom, Nicole & Haylee and we ate lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. After lunch, we went to Target and I got some Christmas shopping done. And we also went to Kohl's where I got some more stuff! Then we got some ice cream from Skinny Dip! By the time, I got home around 5pm my back was hurting really bad and my feet & legs were a little swollen so I rested for a little bit before starting to put some Christmas decorations up. Jacob went hunting all day and when he came home, we went to dinner at Outback- it's been a long time since the two of us have gone out to dinner, just the two of us!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We had a great Thanksgiving with family! Jacob went hunting in the morning and got an 8-pointer! When he came back, we went outside to take pictures.

We went to Jacob's Gomama's house at 12 and had a nice Thanksgiving with his family. Kylie enjoyed playing with her "cousins": Logan, Mason and [the other] Kylie.

Everyone left around 2 and we headed to Mom & Dad's!

We enjoyed some yummy dessert and we left around 8:30. Kylie fell asleep right away once we got on the road. We went to bed shortly after we got home- it was a long day!
