I was giving Brayden his bottle and Kylie started doing something and Brayden started laughing so she kept doing it and he continued to laugh! It was SO cute so I ran to get the camera to record it but of course by then, he was kinda over it but he still did it a couple times. He loves his big sister and he's always smiling when he sees her!

Fall Festival

On Thursday, Kylie had her Fall Festival at school. We were so glad that Haylee had hers on the same day! AND we were so glad that Nicole was actually off from school so it worked out perfect! Both Daddys got off work to come as well.

They had a pumpkin patch and each kid could pick out a pumpkin!

Today, we went to a pumpkin patch at Taylor Farms! We parked our car then went on a hayride, passing cows and horses on our way to the pumpkin patch.

There were a lot of fun things to do... I told Kylie we were going to take pictures first before she could go play! I was putting Brayden in his stroller and I looked up and didn't see Kylie where Haylee was [I figured she would just follow them] then I look over and she's sitting behind this pumpkin, I guess waiting for me to come take her picture!

After all that, Kylie ran off and I took some of Brayden! So glad he's at this age where he can't get away from me!! HAHA

After jumping in the bounce house for a while, we coaxed Kylie out and she ran to the mountain of hay and slides. She also checked out a tee-pee and some animals.

We paid for her pumpkin and took the hayride back to our car. Then we met Nicole, Dave & Haylee at Moe's for lunch then came home.

Brayden: 8 months!

Brayden is 8 months old!!!

Here's what he's been up to....

wears size 2 diapers [about to move him up to size 3] and 6 months shirts & sleepers and 3-6 month pants

Breakfast: oatmeal with a fruit mixed in, Lunch: a veggie, Dinner: meat with a veggie.

he goes to bed about 7pm and sleeps til about 7-7:30am. He takes a morning and afternoon nap and sometimes an evening nap but usually fights it.

He is now on all formula. A couple days ago, we stopped breastfeeding. I think he was pretty much done and for some personal reasons I decided it was time to stop. I'm sad but glad I did it as long as I did. Now hopefully he'll thicken up a little! ;)

I can't believe he is already 8 months old!!! And I'll be saying that every month til he's a year old, which is only FOUR MONTHS AWAY!!!! He's the sweetest little boy ever and we love him so much! On Monday, I take him to the doctor's for a shot and I'll get him weighed!

Teacher Conference

Yesterday, I had a Teacher Conference with Kylie's teacher, Ms Melinda! I was eager to see how Kylie was doing so far. I really like her teacher, she's very enthusiastic and seems very sweet. She had a folder of things Kylie has done so far that she will hang on to and add throughout the school year then I'll get it on the last day. Each month she has the child draw a self-portrait and it's funny to see how she has improved in only 2 months. Same with writing her name. In September she couldn't really write it but now she can write it pretty good, sometimes she forget her L and makes it an I but she's doing better. Also they've been working on their cutting skills and the teacher reminds them "thumb to the sky" when holding their scissors. Also Kylie has told me how to properly hold them when giving them to someone else. :) Her teacher showed me some other artwork Kylie has done. And she had some pictures she had taken of Kylie doing certain things.

Her teacher said Kylie is very loving, always giving hugs and trusting of her teachers. She said Kylie has no problems expressing her thoughts and is very expressive. One thing she mentioned is that when Kylie is on the playground, she is so eager to play with her friends and sometimes pulls their arms to go with her. Her teacher has to remind her to use "kind hands". Overall, Kylie is doing really good!

After meeting with Kylie's teacher, I went to get her from her class to take pictures with Brayden. The photographer that does their school pictures, also offers sibling pictures! I was excited to finally be able to do sibling pictures with Kylie! Kylie did really good holding Brayden and she smiled really good [as always]. Brayden looked very handsome but wasn't sure what to think of the photographer and not sure he ever got a smile out of Brayden! Then he took some of Brayden by himself. Kylie tried to get him to smile while I sat close to him to make sure he didn't fall off the small bench. I can't wait to see how they turned out! Today, Kylie had her individual picture taken and she said she did a good job at smiling so we'll see. :)

Hunt Club: 2011!

Today after picking up the girls from school, we went to the Hunt Club, our yearly Fall tradition and met up with our buddies, Cole & Cason!
