The Payne Family: weekend update... with LOTS of pictures!

friday, my birthday present got here! i got it a little early but just in time! i got the Coolpix s210 camera, it's a small camera that i can keep in my diaper bag and/or purse and pretty much take with me every where. my other [bigger] camera had stopped working the day before. kylie got to it and broke off the bottom piece that keeps the batteries & memory card in. i thought i snapped it back into place but the camera still won't turn on. i even recharged the batteries to make sure that wasn't the problem. i hope i can fix it or take it somewhere to be fixed.

anyways.... on friday marty got picked up around 10:30 and after she left, i laid kylie down for her nap. she got up around 1, ate lunch and we got ready to go to Ocean Breeze! it was a really hot day so we were excited to get in the water. Nic Nic met us there [she left Haylee home with daddy] and a little later Emily & Rylee came. [i wish i had brought my new camera with me but since i had just gotten it, the battery was charging and wasn't ready by the time i left.] kylie did the slides a bunch of time, and even miss rylee did them all by herself! i looked up and didn't see kylie at the top of the slides so i started freaking out. i looked over to the lazy river and she wasn't there. then i looked over to the main kid area and she had walked all the way over there! i ran over there and gave her a "lecture" on how to stay with mommy and that if she wants to go somewhere else, she needs to tell mommy instead of going there by herself. we worked our way over and kylie did the smaller slides then up the stairs to some other taller slides. after she had done it a couple of times, she climbed up the stairs and as she was walking on the bridge, slipped on some water and fell right on her head! right away, she had this huge goose egg on her forehead! i took her to first-aid and we got her some ice. the lady told me to leave the ice on for 20mins.- HA! like that would happen. i think i got it on for more like 2mins.! the goose egg was huge and sticking out pretty far, poor thing. but you know that didn't stop her none, she was ready to play more. so we walked over to the really big slides and did some different ones a bunch of times. after that, we were all really worn out so we walked back to our stuff for a drink & snack. then we packed up our stuff and went home.

saturday.... the girls went to get nicole's wedding dress altered. she had a couple issues that needed fixed and we go back in 2 weeks for another fitting. can't wait to see it then! then i went home so i could lay kylie down for a nap. while she was napping, i ran some errands and got a new cell phone! kylie took a LONG nap [11:30-3:15]. around 6pm, jacob's mom came over to stay with kylie while jacob & i went out to dinner for emily's birthday dinner. we had dinner at Mahi Mah's, a nice seafood restuarant at the Oceanfront.

sunday.... we were on the road early. we drove to Newport News to get a playhouse for kylie that we found on craigs list. we had to wait on them a littler longer than we were expecting so we let kylie out of her seat and we took some pictures!

of course, we couldn't go over to that side of the water without making a stop at Bass Pro Shops. jacob finally got this Father's Day & Anniversary presents! kylie had fun looking at the huge fish tank.

we came home and kylie took her nap. i had to wake her up becuase we were going to a cookout at my friend kerri's house. we ate some yummy food and there was another little girl that kylie played with. then we went to the tides game [baseball] and met nicole, dave & haylee there.
