1st time in the pool!

Last weekend, we took Brayden in the pool for the 1st time! I kept thinking he wasn't old enough so I wasn't really eager to get him in but then I remembered that Kylie was only 2 or 3 months old when she went into a pool for her 1st time and that's a couple months younger than Brayden... but then again they probably weighed about the same so maybe that's why I think that! HA!

videos!

Here's some videos of Kylie going off the diving board in our neighbor's pool last weekend. The first one was in the afternoon. And the 2nd is that evening, she came pretty far in just a short amount of time! She has no fear and loves the water!

jumper

Daddy got the jumper/ jumperoo down from the attic this past weekend and Brayden tried it out! He's still a little small for it so we propped a blanket behind him. He wasn't sure what to think about it all...

what's this?

Winnie the Pooh!

On Friday, I took Kylie to see her 1st movie at the theater! We saw Winnie the Pooh! She was very excited to go. And we got there a little early so we took some pictures before going to sit down.

She sat through the movie pretty good. She sat in my lap most of the time because she had a hard time keeping the seat down and she kept saying she was cold. After the movie was over and we were leaving, she told me she wanted to come back and see another movie!

Zoo

On Thursday, we took the kids to the Norfolk Zoo because it was going to be such a nice day and not super hot. When we got there, we were bummed to find out that their water splash area was being worked on so it wasn't on for the kids to get wet in. That was one of the reasons I wanted to go to the Zoo that day.
We checked out the new exhibit they have and were excited to see the Tigers!

**********************************************
Today, I took Brayden to the doctor to get a shot. :( And also I got him weighed, he's 12lbs. Which means he only gained 4oz in the last 2 weeks. I can't believe he's 5 months old and only weighs 12lbs! And I'm not really sure why he is such on the small. Right now, he gets oatmeal with bananas in the morning and veggies in the evening but I'm going to start giving him MORE. I plan on doing oatmeal in the morning, veggies around lunch time, and veggies & oatmeal for dinner along with milk [breastmilk or formula] 5-6 times a day. We'll see what the doctor says at his 6 month appointment.

All they had were pink band-aids!
